I am STILL working on Fur Elise, but I think I am in the home stretch of it. But I discovered that my piano has preset songs in it, one of which is Fur Elise, so I have been listening to it, trying to perfect my timing. I also have picked my new song, it is called Traumerei by Schumann, it is only a two page song but it is a really great song, I will probably start it after the break. Also I plan to start working on my transposition again in a couple of days since I have the break. I was supposed to have piano practice today but my teacher has the flu so I guess it just gives me another week to practice Fur Elise. Also I am thinking about what I should do for my presentation in January, Mr. Eckerson said I should do something to involve the audience but honestly I can’t think of a way to include anyone that hasn’t played the piano before, I am not a piano teacher. I will keep thinking about it though, I mean I know that I will play a little bit for the presentation and I will talk about my process of learning piano but I am not sure if that is enough.
